Establish a new ‘relief bank’ to restore the economic activities of MSMEs and provide relief for outstanding loans.
NPP 2024Source manifesto
Why this status
The Central Bank and Finance Ministry have implemented SME debt-relief and recovery loan measures, including concessional lending and a new umbrella MSME framework. However, no new dedicated relief bank has been established, so the pledge is only partly met through alternative mechanisms.
